Detailing

• ABOM – Advance Bill of Material. We can generate an ABOM if needed to order steel early.
• Anchor Bolt plans, layouts, templates, and Embed plans as required
• Erection drawings showing plans, elevations, sections, connection details, and anything else you will need to put the project together.
• Detail drawings – complete, easy to read, accurate details for all parts and assemblies require to fabricate drawings. We take extra care to ensure we deliver the cleanest drawings in the business.
• T-sheets for parts – If required, we create individual shop drawings for parts to be fitted.
• Load lists for logistics
• CNC files – We produce everything from DXF, NC1, DSTV, KSS for Fabtrol, and more, to any automated fabrication machinery you may have. We will work to coordinate as necessary to make sure the process goes smoothly.
• BIM – Using Tekla 3D software, we can generate just about every type of file necessary for coordination with contractors and other trades.

Types of work

• Check out our projects page to see samples of the type of work we’ve done. No job is too small, and we have completed projects up to 4,000 tons.
• In addition to structural buildings and basic miscellaneous steel, we’ve done countless projects in road/bridge work, industrial projects, retrofit projects, wood/steel buildings, design-build, and architectural finished materials.

Communication

All projects are managed through our Sacramento headquarters. Our customers communicate directly with us and sends correspondence through our Sacramento before they’re sent to our office in the Philippines. Every single day, we communicate with our detailers in the Philippines from our Sacramento office about the day’s work, correspondence, etc. In addition, we fly out to our Philippines office 3-4 times a year to check on operations or even start off large or complex projects.

• We are always here to answer to your calls and email.
• The “right” RFIs are always asked, along with shop specific questions. Contractors continue to commend C A Detailing for finding discrepancies in designs and offering acceptable solutions.
• We are often available to attend project kick-off or crucial meetings if necessary. Of course it’s much easier if the meeting is a drivable distance. But we have flown across the country to meet a customer and commence a new project (a good size one of course)
